Received replacement dual tach, but it was left in driveway and Duncan ate the carton, damaging the instrument. Went to airport to remove the tach in the plane so I could send both to Westberg for rework. The tach in the plane performed perfectly out of the plane in its self test. Only sent the "eaten" tach to Westberg. Will talk to Rotorway and Westberg on Monday as to whether the transducer could cause the self test failure in the helicopter.
