Began priming the helicopter. Started with all of the fiberglass pieces. Have painted in five batches so far. Painted the strut fairings, all of the rear fuselage pieces, the dogshell F&R, the doghouse insp. panel, the front inspection panel, and the three roof pieces. Still need to paint the now two piece belly pan and the windscreen side pieces. Also the windscreen and doors. Then the metal pieces (blades, tailcone, vertical and horizontal stabilizers, and the misc smaller metal pieces. Painting is hard. I range from too little (orange peel) to too much with runs. Hope to get good before final coats. Can always sand the primer. Time is over five days.
