In order to remove the project from my second floor workshop, I need to remove the landing gear from the airframe. I built the palet of 4 x 4s and strapped it to the airframe. I then used to engine lifts, on either side of the airframe, and Brent Bowman helped me lift the plane. Once high enough I removed the main landing gear and positioned an additional palet between the palet I built and the moving cart. Once settled down I could then remove the front wheel, finishing the installing of that wheel mount and prepare for exit from the workshop. On the rolling cart, it is easy to move the plane about in the workshop.
