Construction of the wheel pants and landing gear fairing requires they follow a displaced centerline and point into the wind. Following the instructions assures this. Then the wheel pants need to attach to the wheel mounting brackets inside the wheel pants. I built up resin inside the wheel pants so they would 'embrace' the wheel mounting brackets. I then placed nutplates on the wheel mounting brackets. Attaching the front and rear wheel pants is accomplished with nutplates once the alignment is correct.
