I constructed the landing gearing fear that reaches from the fuselage down to the wheel pants. The aft edge is held closed with a piano hinge that is clecoed then riveted to the fairing. The the wheel leg fairing needs to be aligned so that its leading and trailing edge face exactly forward. Once this is accomplished per the plans design, the lower intersection fairing is put into place. I then lay up to additional layers of 9 oz cloth on the fairing to make it more rigid. I then trimmed the fairing. I am smoothing the surface of the fairing with epoxy and 407 fairing filler. I will then sand this smooth.
