The main wheels need to be disassembled to remove the wheel bearings. I will clean the wheel bearings with mineral oil and then apply Aeroshell-5 or equivalent grease to the bearings. I installed the tubes and tires, first apply talc to the tubes so they would seat properly. It is necessary to final drill the brake mounts to the landing gear with a 3/8 inch drill. After this you follow the directions to build up the brake mount assembly. Not enough AN960-616 washers were included in the kit so I needed to order more. Tonight Jim Dobbens, the technical counselor for EAA chapter in Midland and Dick Sipp, a previous RV-10 builder inspected my project. They told me all construction and techniques looked excellent.
