I began calibrating the G3X screens. The magnetometer is calibrated by moving the plane to a non magnetic surface of the airport apron or taxiway. I start at 360 degrees and follow the prompts on the G3X. Turn 30 degrees and wait till it tells me to turn another 30 degrees. AFter this was calibrated I noted the transponder was not recognized. When I inspected the harness I noticed I have placed the #6 pin in the #9 pin location and vice versa. Once these were placed in their appropriate locations the transponder worked. The Dynon was not recognizing its magnetometer. I removed the harness and saw that Aerotronics had label the #4 wire as #5 and vice versa. Once I switched those around the transponder worked as well.
