After I smoothed out the initial layers of cloth and placed the cowl back on the plane, the upper and lower portions of the FAB were lower than when I originally placed the foam and shaped it. I believe that is because I had not finished the FAB before placing and shaping the foam. I believe it is best to finish the FAB before placing and shaping the foam. Therefore I removed some cloth and foam from the lower portion of the inlet and added new layers of cloth to both the upper and lower portions. I will trim them back tomorrow and see what further modifications need to happen.
