Brief Description:  Baffles

The directions for trimming the fwd air inlet baffles is complicated. Essentially the lower part of the aluminum inlet needs to come up to the lower cowl inlet within about 1/16 in. The bends in the aluminum tend to keep it shy of this point and it is necessary to bend the aluminum up a bit more so it almost touches the fiberglas cowl. Also this portion as well as the side baffles may be too long and need to be trimmed aft some. I needed to do that on the right side. The left side seems ok. At that point, cylinder two lie more aft than cylinder one ont he right side.I still need to trim back some the side baffles as they protrude more fwd than they need to.
