Both of my magnetometers are mounted in the empennage immediately aft of the baggage compartment. Neither appear to be in areas ofsignificant magnetic influence as assessed by an app I loaded on my iPhone that detects magnetic fields. They are mounted on a tray that attaches to longerons which sit level when the plan is in normal flight attitude. A harness for both runs forward to the panel. I also reinstalled the brake fulid reservoir onto the firewall. I then secured the brake lines to the reservoir on the cabin side of the firewall.I will not tighted the reservoir to the firewall until I am ready to place tank sealant around the insertion point, to keep fumes from the engine compartment from entering the cabin.
