I finished mounting the vertical power unit to the front right fuselage location. It is near the knee of the co pilot. This will allow me more space on the subpanel and easier to service. As stated earlier, I placed some insulation between the unit the the outer fuselage wall to protect against thermal injury. I will need to run power from the starter contacter to the unit. Also ran the positive wire from the battery through the firewall. The optional wire harness plans call for this to be run under and outbd of the starter contactor. I placed a plastic grommet around the opening and will seal with tank sealant at some point.
