I elected to place the Vertical Power unit along the side wall near the co pilots seat. It is easy to service and frees up space under the panel. I used 1" aluminum angle iron for the lower mount, using 2" angle to attach it to the fwd and aft bulkheads. I will do the same with the upper mount. I placed a 1/8" piece of firewall insulation between the unit and the sidewall of the fuselage. This will limit effects of heat or cold on the unit. I plan to place a piece of aluminum skin over this panel to protect the attachments.
