Prepared the wing tip light for the Nav/Strobe lights by drilling the installation holes for the mount base. Needed to order appropriate screws from Van's for the mount. Then I cut in half the wing tip lens. It needed much trimming to fit the location. Even after the trimming the perimeter of the lens protrudded from the ledge it was meant to fit. Therefore, I needed to add flox epoxy around the perimeter to assure the transition from tip to lens was smooth.
