Spent time enlarging the opening in the replacement wing tip bulkhead so it would accept the Aerosun VX landing light. Cautious sanding and shaping is necessary to assure the fit is appropriate and does not restrict movement of the lamp. If you over trim, it looks messy. Also prepared the inside of the wing tip where the replacement bulkhead attaches for layups of cloth and epoxy. Used BID cloth and applied two layers of cloth. Then on the outside where the replacement bulkhead meets with the wing tip I needed to fair in the junction with epoxy and filler.
