Brief Description:  Upper skin overlying instrument panel

I have prepared the cabin enough to satisfy myself that placing the upper skin over the instrument panel is timely. I applied tank sealant to the sides of the fuselage and upper firewall before attaching the skin. Some of the rivets were challenging to place as they were deep and behind the panel. Shawn Cogan helped two separate nights to help rivet this in place. The most forward rivet to the fuselage required placing a pull rivet. Now the windshield can be attached. I purchased two low amperage cooling fans to place in the upper skin to supply warmer air from the avionics to the windshield for defrost.
