The tail light/strobe electrical harness needs to be shielded wire to prevent RF interference. I stripped the wire and carefully preserved the shield around the wire harness. I then soldered a ground wire to the shield. A ground comes from the chassis of the light and and internal ground and I joined them together before they enter the molex connector. The wire harness joins the molex connector and the ground from the light and the ground from the shield are attached inside the empennage and the most aft location.
