Brief Description:  Door window

I am to the stage of installing the windows in the doors and aft cabin. I elected to use Lord's adhesive that I purchased from Aerosport products. The windows I purchased for Cee Bailey. They required very little trim, but I did use the orbital sander to take off enough of the edge so that I had 1/16 to 1/8 inch clearance between window and window frame. It was necessary to build up the lip height on the aft cabin window frames with epoxy so the windows would set flush with the cabin. I placed painter's tape around the inside and outside of the windows to minimize adhesive overflow onto the windows. After applying adhesive to the door windows, I weighted them down. The adhesive sets up in about 1 hour, The windows on the aft cabin were mostly upright so I needed to rig tape and cans of paint along the perimeters to hold the windows down while the adhesive set. Afterward I needed to remove the tape, which was difficult as adhesive had spilled over onto the tape.
