Brief Description:  Cabin top

Began to prepare the cabin top. The fiberglas fuselage comes from the mold with redundant fiberglas along all edges. This needs to be trimmed back to scribe lines. I used a dremel tool with carbide wheel to trim back and then spent much time with my orbital sander slowing trimming more fiberglas from the cabin top. The goal was to fit within the fuselage door opening, sit flush with the fwd cabin top where the instrument panel sets and aft resting on top of the side skins. I accomplished this after sanding, placing the cabin top in place, measuring, removing, sanding, placing the cabin top in place, measuring, removing, etc. You get the idea. Finally I achieved the fit I needed. I am now drilllng matching holes from the fuselage side skins, aft top side skin and sites of attachment to the door opening.
