I replaced the vertical stabelizer on the tailcone. Then with the empennage fairing in place, I match drilled the holes from the tailcone, horizontal stabelizer, and vertical stabelizer into the fairing. I then could enlarge those holes in the fairing and countersink them for a # 6 screw. I placed nutplates in the vertical and horizontal stabelizer where those holes were drilled. The empennage gap below the horizontal stabelizer attaches to the tailcone with #6 screws but it is necessary to tap with a 6-32 tap threads into the underlying longerons. I also attached the horizontal stabelizer tip covers and fiberglassed then with West Epoxy.
