Brief Description: Floor pans and landing gear mount
Placed 1 1/4 sound deadening insulation between the fwd floor ribs to cut sound and conserve heat. Riveted the fwd floor pans into place. Fitted the landing gear mounts into place and the bolts to hold them in place fit perfectly. Previously I spent 10 hours trying to fit these buggers, only to remove them so I could rivet the skins into place. For 5 weeks I have worried the bolts would not go into place. God made the difference. I can place most of the washers and nuts onto the bolts but I will need the slender hands of my 6 year old grandson to place the deepest washers and nuts that are between the two center bulkheads. Major accomplishment getting these landing gear mounts into place. :)
