Brief Description: Leading edge lighting & SunBeam wiring
Well, the rain continues so prep & priming was a delayed AGAIN. So, I was in the mood for some electrical so I pulled out all of my landing / taxi lights & started snipping wires, soldering etc. I'm planning on using a VPX for my electrical system so I'm only using the power & ground leads from the lights. The VPX will sync & wig-wag lights however I decide to program it. That being said I snipped off the extra wires at various lengths & sealed them up with color coded shrink wrap. As you can see from the pictures, the stock leads are extremely short so I extended the power & ground wires on all of the lights via solder joints & 18 gage wire, triple shrink wrapped the joints & bundle. I also started mounting the leading edge lights. :-)
