Well, with the right wing skeleton now complete, it was time to get the other half of the wing stand set up. After the issues I had getting the other side set in the concrete, I decided to try stepping up the hole size starting at 1/8 and worked my way up to 1/2. This time I kept the wing stand base in place and use it as a templet while drilling. All that is left is to final adjust the wing's position in the sling. It seemes like its been a very long road to get the wing to this point... Probably due to all of the mundane / repetive deburring, prep & priming work that goes into this first chunk of the wing. As of today, I have about 80 hours into the wing... Well worth it. I now have something that resembles a wing.
