I spent most of the day building a wing craddle for storage & final assembly work etc. Kind of my own design mixed with Van's plans... I tend to over build these things and as usual, Its built like a tank and weighs a ton ;-)... After pulling up the wing stands, I filled all the holes with high strength concrete epoxy. It almost perfectly blends in with the exopy coat. When I move to the hanger, I'll come back & recoat the shop floor anway.
I pulled the right wing tank and shaved the skin a bit to get a better fit between the tank and the leading edge. I was having some puffing between the tank attach screws... Anyhow, I got it to fit ""better"", not perfect but better / acceptable. Kim gave me a hand getting the right wing to the craddle. On to the alierons, flaps, rigging & electrical."
