"Well, I didn't get anywhere near the amount of work done that I wanted to this weekend but it was a much needed relaxing weekend! Several cat-naps were had this weekend. Most of the time I put in was dedicated to deburring & fluting ribs which is captured in the prior log(s). But We're finally starting to see some substancial structure growing.
- Assembled the wing skeletons. - Double & triple checked rib placement & orientation. Kim came out and checked again, we are positive everything is matching the plans. - Started match drilling ribs to the main & rear spar. - Made wing tip end brackets to attach the wing to the wing stand. - Painted wing-stand bases (1""x7"" crate wood).
Got pulled away to work on Nugget's (baby Addison's) room. Had to cut down some steel shelving to fit in her closet. Man, the kid isn't even here yet & she has room full of stuff!!! Its fun to see Kim so involve in getting her room set up. It's almost like seein myself when I was ""finishing"" the shop to start this airplane building adventure."
