It all went pretty quick this go-a-round. Got up early 6am to beat the Georgia summer heat and pre-koted the remaining elevator tid-bits... I was done before 8:30, that is a pretty good pace for me when it comes to this process! I let the parts dry all day before coming back to prime in the evening when it was "cooler" and I had some shade. The priming when super smooth & was done in less than an hour. I fixed the issue I had with my spay gun on the last session. I applied a little blue loctite to the airflow valve I kept hitting (turning) with my pinky every time I started shooting the primer. It turned out beautiful the only minor issue I have now is guestimating the amount of AKZO to mix up. I mixed a total of 16 ounces & only used about half of it... I hated waisting that stuff at over a $100.00 a gallon. Oh well, just another right of passage when building a plane. On to riveting the skeleton tomorrow, the home stretch in this section. Only 4 more sections to go!!!! :-)
