Between yesterday and this evening, I spent about 2.5 hours riveting the HS-707 ribs in place. It was VERY difficult getting my hands in there to buck rivets on the bottom side. If I had it to do over again, I would definately use the optional blind rivets on the bottom side!!! The very forward rivets were the most difficult. Glad it's done and I only had to do it once (hopefully). I hear of a lot of people go back and rebuild a new empennage when they are done building. I'm trying to do a good enough job now so I won't want to go back later. 24 rivets in 2.5 hours... Man that is slower then I can run. I got a couple scrapes in the primer from the bucking bar & my watch (duh!!!). About to touch those scratches up really quick before calling it a night.
