Brief Description: HS front spar & adjustment on rear spar
After a night of deliberation, I did NOT like the outer rivets on outer hinge brackets (413/rear spar)! I drilled out 16 4-5 rivets in this area and replace them with 4-4s… Much better & more to my liking! I pressed on at this point and riveted the front spar. I am going to carry on from this point forward with my limited 1700+ hour A&P knowledge (too bad they don’t prepare you for building an experimental plane from scratch)…. Shop heads on the thicker material side of structures etc. Whien finished, this thing is going to carry me & my family. I can tell you at this point, this plane is built like a tank compared to all of the certified planes I’ve worked on and flown!
