"This evening I went over Bill's house to help him fit the top on his -10. It was alot of work but I had a ton of fun giving him a hand. I always enjoy working with other RV builders & learning from them. I have learned alot from Bill! He has let me help him with his build quite a bit, which has been an awesome experience!!! I can't wait till both of us are done with our builds. He's going to have to be the second pilot on my insurance. :-)
Anyway, we got the top fitted in only 4 tries thanks to Bill's research and ingenious measuring stick for the door frames. You would not believe how aggressively you have to cut the top! It's definately no wonder why some folks take the top on anf off 10+ times for the initial fitting."
