After much research & deliberation , I've settled upon my priming / prep process. I know there is an ongoing, never ending debate on aircraft corrosion protect and internal priming. Blah, Blah, Blah. I've decided to prime the whole internal surface of my RV. I am going to be taking a 21st century approach to the subject and avoiding toxic chemical as much as possible.
The Priming / Prep process that I'm plan on:
- Deburr outer edges of parts prior to fitting & match drilling.
- Deburr inter edges & holes prior to dimpling.
- Spray part with PreKote & scuff part with maroon scotch-brite pad let it set for 2-3 minutes.
