With the bottom skin riveted added the aft side panels. The simple jig worked well for me. By pressing up the taper of the fuselage it held the skins well. My technique changed as I went along. If I started over I would had the side skin stiffners with the fuselage in the jig. Less time.
As soon as the top sheet was added the entire tail section turned into one solid structure. The tip skins are dead nuts level and the bottom skin centerline is directly above the top skin centerline. So far all the pieces from the kit have been a perfect fit.
