I followed the instructions and it all seemed to work well. When checking the sender outside the tank it was set for about 69 ohms. After putting it in the tank it read about 65 ohms. Opened up the angles on one of the bends (just a little) to read 69 ohms when the float is on the bottom. Now it reads 69 when on the bottom. Cool. The empty reading seems important. Maybe not as important as the quarter full but still pretty important.
