Brief Description: Christmas 2007 Holiday Bucket of time and activity
The Christmas holiday was pack. I thought I would have a lot of time, but with the grandkids home there were more important things to do. Entertain the kids. I did sneak some time to work on the project and next few entries document the things I did and the time I spent. The locker and the gas tank used up all this time. A small drill jig was used to drill the Dzus spring rivet holes. I drilled a No. 20 hole through the door and door stop to mark the center of the fastener. Used that hole to hold the jig with a cleco. It gave me the spacing for the rivets. Pretty simple but worked well. The crimps on the angle for the locker door turned our well. Was a lot easier than I though it would be. I think I'm ready for the angles on the wing tips.
Locker starting to take shape. There's enough room for a tent and a sleeping bag in this wing.
An O-Ring on the Dzus quarter turn holds it in place quite nicely.
My home made tool to squeeze the c'sink into the Locker Door Stops for the Dzus spring rivets.
