Continued to ream the tailwheel socket mounting hole in small increments to get a good fit for the #1 taper pin. The assembly has a bit of movement from the forward mount that used a simple bolt rather than a taper pin. Will try some aluminum shims to remove the movement. Horizontal alignment apprears to be within a few degrees. Steering geometry (push rod anchor holes) will need adjusting to find the optimal movement that gets the tailwheel to unlock.
