Spent a couple of hours working off some of the write-ups I made when I ran through the blueprints a couple of weeks ago.
The biggest item was replacing the bottom outboard bolt in the right landing gear weldment. The original one was just a bit short--it didn't allow any threads to show after the locknut was installed. Turned into quite a project. I had to jack the aircraft to relieve the pressure so that I could get the bolt out.
I also safetied the break calipers today. Took a few minutes, buit one less job to do.
Last, I replaced the tie straps that conect the center bulkhead to the longeron on the left side. I damaged the originals when I drilled out the top rivets to allow me to cleco the forward fuselage skin on. Anyway, they are the dark gray vertical strips under the white horizontal bit at the top of the gold center bulkhead.
