Finished up the side rails for the canopy frame today. All I needed to do was to trim off the aft end of the rails. They protrude past the fuselage skin and needed to to be ground down so that they don't. The canopy skirt rests against the skin.
Also, I sanded the now-mangled powder coating on the canopy frame forward bow. After I got the bends right the paint looked really bad. :-/ There is a fellow in town who does a really nice job with powder coating and I dropped the whole frame assembly off for recoating (in white).
