Brief Description:  Remote Compass Mount

I finalized the installation of the Dynon remote compass sensor pack mount. This is the third iteration of the bracket. The first one never made it out of the cardboard mockup stage. The second one was similar to this one, but was built square to the mount. This one uses a bent piece of .040" sheet aluminum fastened to the mounting brackets. By doing it this way, I was able to get the 96deg bend I needed to have the bracket angle match the instument panel angle. (It is required to match within 0.2deg). I'm pretty much on the money, but figure it'll change when the IP is mounted permanently. I'll just adjust at that point with brass washers.

After I had it riveted into place, I made the wire holders and a passthrough for the wire connecting the remote compass to the EFIS. I used some of that snap-on edging to prevent chafing and installed some adel clamps to hold things firm where the wire will attach to the sensor.
