Brief Description:  Trim Servo Wiring

Not a lot of time today. I decided to take the empennage off of the aircraft today and dubur holes that I drilled when installing it, plus I hadn't installed the wiring for the electric pitch trim servo. It would be a lot easier to install with the tail off.

In Pic1 you can see the aft deck. There is a large lightening hole and then two smaller ones forward of it. Between them is where I drilled a 7/16" hole to insert a snap bushing to run the servo wire. If you look just under that hole on the bulkhead (dark shadow) inside the fuselage ytou can see where the wire passes through the bulkhead to join the conduit running forward. Exciting stuff!

Pic2 shows the wire installed running through the cutout in the leading edge of the left elevator. By now I had the HS back on and the elevators. I was concerned that there could be an opportunity to chafe, but it doesn't look likely. Nonetheless, I installed some heatshrink to the wire to beef-up the insulation.
