Brief Description:  Rudder Pedals, On Gear

Reassembled the rudder pedal assembly after having the pedals powder coated. Installed the castle-nuts and cotter keys after torquing everything to spec. Installed the brass hose fittings onto the brake cylinders. Installed duct tape on fittings to keep stuff out of the cylinders. They're ready to install and run lines--once I finish up the area under the pedals.

Got tired of doing piddly little tasks in the cockpit area. What I really needed to do was get her on the gear so that I can take her out of the hangar to prime and paint the exposed parts of the cockpit. Once those areas are painted, I can start to permanently assemble everything that I've completed.

So, I took my motor off of the hoist and lifted the fuselage to take it off of the rotisserie. Putting the gear on was an amazingly simple task. Probably would have been alot harder if I hadn't bout the hoist. ;-) After I got it on the gear, I wheeled it outside and primed the canopy rails and other areas. I need to go bak over it and find what I missed and give it a second coat.
