Brief Description: Rudder Pedals and Center Channel
Been getting creamed with regular work, so haven't been to the hangar in a few days. Boy, do I miss it when I can't get here.
Ok. Did the inital installation of the rudder pedal assembly into the fuselage. Located and drilled the UHMW bushing blocks onto the longerons and fitted the center brace for the rudder pedal axles. I've got tehm placed at the furthest forward location by the plans. I'm also going to make another location 1 inch closer to the seats.
Installed the heater baffle (by the center of the rudder axles, where the diagonal slots are) and installed all the nutplate for the center channel. This is a cover plate for the fuel & brake lines and electrical wiring. Plus the electric fuel pump is under the lower right vertical corner. The top is the heater distribution box.
