Before mounting the gear leg weldments, I back drilled the gear legs to the mounts. Everything is well lubed with wheel bearing grease to ease installation and prevent rust.
Lots of repetitive work on the weldments. I probably installed/removed each part about 15 times while adjusting the alignment of the bolts. Not alot to say about this, just very tedious so as to not adjust too much and ruin the parts. All the bolts pretty much install with minimal effort. The close tolerance bolts through the spar will be a challenge, but at least now everything is well aligned first.
I'm tossing the bolts and nuts I used to get things all setup and have ordered replacements (didn't use the real bolts for the spar mounts, though). When they come in, I'll install the mounts permanently.
