Worked on the forward aft fuselage today. (Some call it the turtledeck?)
Anyway, I dove right in to what turned into an all day project. My quickbuild fuselage came with a couple of extra surprises that added some work time. Not a big deal, but time consuming. The stringers on the top of the fuselage were too long and had to be resized and the top rib that runs between bullkheads hit right on where a skin rivet had to pass. Got those fixed up, but probably blew 2 hours.
So more of the same match drill, deburr, and dimple. Ready for riveting, but I'll need to get some help. I can't reach the back rivets and run the gun...
