Some folks wait to do wiring all at once later in their project. I am taking a sub-systems approach to builing my kit. I am trying to focus on completing a subsystem. Right now, it's the wings. I've nearly finished everything in the right wing, including the electrical wiring.
Tonight I installed the ground wires for the tip lights (nav, landing, and taxi) and installed some knife connectors (ran out) and the strobe molex plugs.
The knife connectors will be nice if I need to remove the assemblies later--I won't have to cut and reconnect (with a shorter wire). Lock together, but removeable. Plus, blue will mate to red. Very nice.
For grounds I installed a nutplate into the rib (previously) and used a ring connector, knife on the other end.
