Prepped and epoxied the aluminum strips into place top and bottom (yesterday). It prevents the rivets from pulling through the fiberglass when the tip is installed. While drying, the upper strip pulled loose in the front and dried that way. I removed a section of the stip and reinstalled it tonight. (The photo shows it clamped into place). I used "flox," an epoxy flocked cotton fiber mixture.
I installed the fairing tip rib as shown. Pretty straight forward stuff.
