Assembled the left HS ribs and match drilled to the spars. After deburring, I attached the HS-601 skin to the frame.
Next I oriented and clamped the HS404, 405 ribs. I opted to drill the HS404 aft flange holes based on their position on that flange rather than coming through from the back and hope I drilled straight. HS405 I drilled from the back using the locations mentioned above.
When I drilled the top hole on HS405 and preserved the edge distance on the flange, I landed right on the edge distance limit on HS710 in the front. Discussed the location of the hole with Van's Aircraft and it is not an issue.
