Was kind of dreading removing the paper from the doors. Have read several horror stories from the Zenith forum as to the residue that is left by the glue. I got some 91 proof Isopropyl alcohol to clean the bubble windows but I didn't need it. The protective paper came off the bubble windows easily and with no residue. Kind of amazing as the doors are over 3 yrs old and the heat in the hangar has been 100 degrees. Next, I installed the cotter pins in the castle nuts of the pilot door. I did some measuring and cutting on the pilot kick panel to accomodate for the fuel hoses and fuel shutoff. Kick panel fits well. Before I left the hangar I put the bottom half of the cowl on a stool to see how it might fit. Will have to do a lot of fitting this week.
