Brief Description:  Worked on instrument panel

Since I have a hinged instrument panel it is necessary to expand the throttle holes on the fixed frame so the panel can drop. If the throttle was bolted to both panels it would not move. The hole on the pilot side had to be elongated to accomodate the cable as the panel is dropped. Next, I retrieved the GPS puck and constructed a doubler. I am going to mount the puck on the top of the fuselage and since I don't have access inside, I will rivet a doubler on the outside. I will mount the puck next to the ELT antenna since it must be located at least 3' from the VHF antenna. I plan on putting nut plates on the doubler for the puck and will drill 4 holes to accomodate them in the top fuselage. Will also have to drill a hole for the wire bundle which is small. Will use silicon sealant on all the holes.
