Today we accomplished a few things. I was able to safety wire the top elevator cable using the single wrap technique. It is acceptable but not as preferred as the double spiral wrap technique. Could not get both arms inside the hole to do that one. Dean tied down the fuel sender wires and the the pitot and AOA tubes inside the wing. He was able to get through the inspection hatch. We taxied the aircraft once again to the compass rose. The compass performed accurately. We did the compass calibration at the compass rose and it passed. We are very pleased. The only items left are some zip ties around a few more loose wires and to rivet the top wing panels that cover the fuel sender and fuel feed area. With those accomplished this aircraft will be built.
