Brief Description: Cleaned the Aircraft, Riveted counterweights
My wife Susan came to the hangar today and graciously consented to do some grunt work. Needed to use some laquar thinner to remove the lettering on the skins. She got all of it except for the belly which I will finish tomorrow. Overall great job and the aircraft looks great. In the course of doing the job she found 7 or 8 missing rivets too. I, meanwhile, riveted the flaperon counterweights and cut a bit of the rudder hinge pin. I drove the pin all the way to the top and then safety wired the bottom of the hinge to keep the pin from ever falling out.
