Brief Description: Started hinge and stabilizer patch
Drilled out the rivets in the stab for the extension hinge. The patch calls for adding about 11" of hinge on both sides of elevator. This extends the elevator hinge to the full length of the elevator. The patch will take a couple of days. We also used some Permatex 14a on the copper rings between the fuel pumps and the manifold. After the last engine run we observed small drips of fuel around the top collar of one of the pumps. Lastly, attempted to safety wire the bolts on nose gear that holds the blocks in place. They turned out pretty bad so will accomplish.
