I cut another piece of 5052 fuel line to connect the front handle to the center latch. The first one was about 1/4" too short and the center latch bearing didn't quite make the bend in the door. The new piece fits perfectly. I inserted the bolts and castle nuts to check the fit. After I was satisfied I drilled and countersunk the holes up to #12 drill size. I bolted the center latch bearing and latch spring. Next, I drilled the rear latch pin guide hole to 3/16". The screw holes were drilled to size #12. I brought these pieces home to paint.
